Change the cron log level in init script from 5 to 7
in order to match previous log behavior and to avoid
log spam every minute.
Busybox cron only uses levels 5,7,8, where 5 is debug and
7 and 8 are normal logging. Use 7 as default.
(Fun note: this is needed because upstream corrected an
ancient bug in their own log level handling and now 5 actually
means something.)

Remove backtick from gdb description text, as that seems to
be recognized as a shell action by compilation with apk,
causing error.

Increase the default system log buffer size option
in /etc/config/system from 64 kB to 128 kB.
64 kB is barely enough for the boot items of a modern router
with a few add-on packages, but any subsequent logging will
quickly cause the early boot items to get overwritten in the
round-robin log buffer. Double the buffer size to 128 kB.
(Note: built-in default in ubox logd itself is still 16 kB)

Increase the failsafe waiting timeout period from 2 seconds
to 4 seconds.
Since commit 29207748b in 2015 we have had a rapid LED blinking
indication for the failsafe triggering period. But the really short
timeout of 2 seconds requires snappy reaction time from the user to
notice the LED blinking and to push button inside the short window.
Relax the timeout to 4 seconds, which more easily allows to notice
the change in LED blinking and push a button.

Add feed update option '-s' that performs 'git pull --rebase --autostash':
* possible local uncommited changes are autostashed before pull,
* local commits are then rebased on top of the new commits pulled
from origin and
* finally git does 'stash pop'.
This enables feed update while there are local development commits
and possibly also local uncommited changes.

To better acommodate with the current browsers' requirements, also
self-signed certificates should have subjectAltName and
extendedKeyUsage defined in the self-signed x509 SSL certificates.
The following case sensitive options are now possible:

Update musl C library to 1.2.5
This release adds extension functions statx and preadv2/pwritev2,
with fallback implementations for older kernels, and adds two new
ports: loongarch64 and riscv32. Minor changes to the printf family
of functions have been made for conformance to new standards
interpretations/requirements. TLSDESC support for riscv64 has also
been added.
Bugs fixed include some DNS issues related to new TCP fallback
functionality, several rare race conditions, potentially incorrect
return value when glob aborts, and several signifiant arch-specific
bugs affecting TLSDESC on arm, riscv64 icache flushing, and
sh sigsetjmp and dlsym RTLD_NEXT.

Adjust LED names and provide the OpenWrt status indicator aliases
to actually use LEDs by the OpenWrt boot & sysupgrade processes.
* Name both LEDs clearly by the color
* Add the missing OpenWrt LED status indicator aliases and
remove the now unnecessary default status from blue LED
After this commit, the LEDs are used as:
* bootloader, really early Linux boot: blue LED is on
* preinit/failsafe: white LED blinks rapidly
* late boot: white LED blinks slowly
* boot completed, running normally: blue LED is on
* sysupgrade: white LED blinks

Add 2 seconds sleep after each forcibly killed/tried-to-kill process
in the final process termination loop in sysupgrade stage2.
This is needed especially for qualcommax/ipq807x, where ath11k
wireless driver may have a long 10-20 seconds delay after termination
before actually getting killed. This often breaks sysupgrade.
The current KILL loop in kill_remaining does all 10 kill attempts
consecutively without any delay, as evidenced here in a failing sysupgrade.
It does not allow any time for the process to finalize its internal
termination.

Dnsmasq DNS cache size is only 150 by default.
Set the uci default value to 1000, so that cache gets used more

Add kmod-ramoops to the default set of device packages in
R7800 and XR500, so that the ramoops kernel crash logs
are provided by default for these routers.
The capability was earlier defined by 97158fe1 and cf346dfa,
but the feature was not yet turned on by default.
The possible kernel crashes are stored into /sys/fs/pstore/*

Package the ability to log kernel crashes to 'ramoops' pstore
files into RAM in /sys/fs/pstore
Reference to the ramoops admin guide in upstream Linux:

The files in RAM survive a warm reboot, but not a cold reboot.
Note: kmod-ramoops selects kmod-pstore and kmod-reed-solomon.
The feature can be used by selecting the kmod-ramoops and
adding a ramoops reserved-memory definition to the device DTS.

Mark uci, ubus, libubox, lua, libnl-tiny and libjson-c
as nonshared packages. This helps to keep coherent dependencies
if these ABI versioned packages are later updated.
Before this commit it is possible to get missing dependencies
in target-specific nonshared packages (like iwinfo) that depend
on these shared ABI versioned packages. If these are later updated
and rebuilt, only the new ABI version will be available for download,
while the target-specific packages in releases continue to depend on
the old ABI version.
After this commit the packages are built along the other nonshared
packages by the phase1 images buildbot and will be available at the
target/ download directories instead of packages/base dir. That will
help to keep a coherent set available.

Flush kernel memory caches during sysupgrade in order
to mitigate the impact from memory consumption spikes
in low-RAM devices.
This may help to prevent sysupgrade causing a reboot
before the actual flashing starts.

Define the kernel config symbol CONFIG_MFD_RB4XX_CPLD=n

Note for future: release notes mention that YYPRINT macro is
declared deprecated, but apparently still works for now. I found
one possible use of that in scripts/config/zconf.tab.c_shipped
That might be modernized at some point, but as the file is synced
with the one from upstream Linux, it might get fixed there.

Add ath9k wifi capabilities to WNDR3700 family.
* use kmod-owl-loader to load firmware from "art"
* add wifi to DTS
* add wifi LEDs
Avoid using the same MAC for eth0 LAN and wlan0 by
toggling the eth0 MAC into a locally administered MAC.
That is currently done by in user-space by adding a
uci config item into /etc/config/network
(More elegant solution might be setting it already in
preinit phase.)
Known issues:
* wifi firmware file may not get created on the first boot
after flashing on time to bring wifi normally up. Likely
the overlay jffs2 is not yet ready for creating the
firmware file. "wifi up" may still bring wifi up.
Wifi will work normally at subsequent boots.
* phy0 and phy1 may get assigned mixed, so that phy0 may
be the 5GHz radio instead of the normal 2.4GHz, and vice
versa for phy1. Does not happen always, but may happen.

Add support for WNDR3700 and WNDR3700v2.
They share most things with WNDR3800.
Only device IDs and partition structure needs to be set.
Note: WNDR3700 (v1) has no NETGEAR_HW_ID, but has
also the NA version of the factory image.

Prepare for addition of WNDR3700 and WNDR3700v2 by
separating the common parts into wndr3700.dtsi and
leaving just the device-specific things into wndr3800.dts
The three routers are identical except
* device IDs
* WNDR3700 (v1) has only 8 MB flash, while others have 16 MB.
Partition structure needs to be defined for each device.
* (WNDR3800 has 128 MB RAM, but RAM size is not in DTS)
Also separate the common parts of the image recipe.
(Drop also the initramfs recipe.)

Remove the "firmware" partition definition from the DTS of R7800
to fix sysupgrade.
Commit 4645a6d3 defined CONFIG_MTD_SPLIT_UIMAGE_FW=y for ipq806x
and that causes mtd to misbehave as additional kernel and ubi
partitions are detected from inside the "firmware" partition.

Both kernel and ubi are already defined in DTS, so this duplication
leads into errors in sysupgrade:

ubiattach: error!: strtoul: unable to parse the number '6 mtd10'
ubiattach: error!: bad MTD device number: "6 mtd10"
The partition is defined to same area as kernel+ubi, and is not
needed for sysupgrade anymore. Remove it to fix things.
Only tested for the R7800 but all of them should behave equal.

Package the driver for Chaoskey, a USB dongle that provides a
True Random Number Generator (TRNG) and feeds entropy to kernel.
Chaoskey driver is included the upstream Linux sources, so
only packaging it is needed.
Run-tested with ipq806x/R7800 and mvebu/WRT3200ACM.
(Requires CONFIG_HW_RANDOM kernel option.)

Shorten the version string in Netgear factory image header in order
to enable u-boot TFTP recovery flash mode to work again.
Strip 'r7210-14cb05909a' into 'r7210' in the Netgear image header
by removing the hash (anything after "-").
background:
Some Netgear routers have recently been unable to flash Openwrt
factory image with the TFTP recovery flash mode provided by Netgear
u-boot. That is due to over-long Openwrt version string overflowing
into the router type string in u-boot code. Modern git versions
produce 10-digit short hashes for the Openwrt main repo, and that
causes the version string to be too long in the image header,
breaking the image ID verification by the TFTP flash routine.
(Other option could be to force a shorter hash in scripts/getver.sh,
but as the problem only concerns Netgear routers, let's patch just
them.)

Increase the available flash memory size in Netgear R7800
by taking into the use the unused "netgear" partition
that is located after the firmware partition.
Available flash space for kernel+rootfs+overlay increases
by 68 MB from 32 MB to 100 MB.
In a typical build, overlay space increases from 15 to 85,
increasing the package installation possibilities greatly.
Reverting to the OEM firmware is still possible, as the OEM
firmware contains logic to initialise the "netgear" partition
if its contents do not match expectations. In OEM firmware,
"netgear" contains 6 UBI sub-partitions that are defined in
/etc/netgear.cfg and initialisation is done by /etc/preinit
Tested with Openwrt master r7093-4fdc6ca31b and OEM V1.0.2.52

ath10k tries to fetch board id via otp, but that fails for many chips
like QCA988x, QCA9984 etc. Recent commit cc189c0b7f removed the earlier
hack that had allowed QCA radios to work, as that hack was incompatible
with the new wifi chips being introduced to the source tree.
Restore functionality for the existing wifi chips by modifying the
return value of the 'board id via otp' function to a value that is recognised
as a harmless error, so that name evaluation continues by using the board file.
Patch originally suggested by Christian Lamparter in forum discussion.

samba.org has started to enforce https and
currently plain http downloads with curl/wget fail,
so convert samba.org download links to use https.
Modernise links at the same time.
Also convert samba.org URL fields to have https.

* more visible error message for package list download failure
* separate error message for signature file download error
* if wget returns 4, signal the network error more clearly
