On the TSN and RED variants of SparX-5 and LAN969x TAS (Time-Aware Shaper)
is present in the silicon.
Currently, the driver does not use configure it at all, which means that
the TAS_PROFILE_CONFIG.LINK_SPEED[1] value is left at the default of 3
which means that its configured for 1 Gbps.
So, running iperf between two 10G switch ports will result in only 940-ish
Mbps while we should be getting around 9.3 Gbps.
Correctly populating the TAS_PROFILE_CONFIG.LINK_SPEED[1] with the current
port speed fixes this issue and we achieve around 9.4 Gbps between two 10G
switch ports.
So, port the TAS port link speed setting from the vendor BSP 6.18 kernel[2]

Currently, sysupgrade will only upgrade the unused slot, however since the
whole dual firmware logic is in the bootscript U-boot will just use the
first bootscript it finds.
So, in a case that you are running slot A it will upgrade slot B, however
that means that slot B will be still booted by the old bootscript that came
with the previous firmware version.
This is an issue if you need to change anything, so lets add a custom
function that upgrades the active bootscript as well after flashing the
slot firmware.

Methode uDPU and eDPU devices are one of the rare ones with a completely
custom image format being used with custom partition table with F2FS.
Instead of converting the boards to dual firmware (A/B style) and further
expand the already convoluted custom scripts, especially considering that
dual firmware conversion is a breaking change anyway, lets convert to using
the generic eMMC sysupgrade based images.
F2FS ZSTD compression is preserved thanks to fstools now supporting its use
on overlays.
Dual firmware support is implemented via U-Boot scripts so no U-Boot
upgrade is required.
Since there is a partition table layout change, eMMC must be wiped and
reflashed with the generated GPT image from OpenWrt initramfs.
Then on each sysupgrade the firmware slot will be altered.
Instructions:
1. Boot into OpenWrt initramfs
2. Copy openwrt-mvebu-cortexa53-methode_edpu-squashfs-emmc-gpt.img.gz to
the device into /tmp
3. Erase eMMC:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=1M
4. Extract image
gzip -d /tmp/openwrt-mvebu-cortexa53-methode_edpu-squashfs-emmc-gpt.img.gz
5. Flash image
dd if=/tmp/openwrt-mvebu-cortexa53-methode_edpu-squashfs-emmc-gpt.img of=/dev/mmcblk0
6. Reboot

Currently, moving from a port on one LAN8814 PHY package to another results
in a no traffic flowing on that new port.
It was tracked down to upstream change that fixed the issue that QSGMII
was soft reset on .config_init of each of 4 PHY-s in the package resulting
in a temporary traffic loss until QSGMII resynced.
However, it seems that the QSGMII soft reset timing is crucial and doing
the reset during probe only cause the QSGMII link to become partially
unsynced (Like 2 or 3 lanes are not synced).
So, add an upstream pending patch[1] to fix this, patch was modified as we
dont have the inband caps currently.

We patch DMA_BUF to make it tristate, so once ALL_KMODS is selected it will
be built as a module even if previously disabled in the config.

SFP I2C buses for ports 1 and 3 were swapped as order changed on production

Use the added support for generating per device targz rootfs so that images
generated for Methode devices when CONFIG_TARGET_MULTI_PROFILE and
CONFIG_TARGET_PER_DEVICE_ROOTFS are set, we actually get the targz rootfs
that respects DEVICE_PACKAGES.
Currently, buildbot generated images have no networking, LM75 nor I2C
working, as the generated images do not include required kmods that are
listed in DEVICE_PACKAGES.
While at it, there is no need for tar to run in verbose mode.

Currently, for targets that use the CONFIG_TARGET_ROOTFS_TARGZ a single
rootfs tarball is generated for the subtarget based of $(TARGET_DIR).
However, this means that it does not respect DEVICE_PACKAGES like other
rootfs images.
So, lets augment CONFIG_TARGET_ROOTFS_TARGZ by adding a proper targz fstype
so that per device rootfs is generated under lock.
This is required so that devices that use custom sysupgrade archives like
Methode devices, can actually include a per device rootfs so when building
for multiple devices and with CONFIG_TARGET_PER_DEVICE_ROOTFS set the built
image actually includes the listed DEVICE_PACKAGES.

Migration of the eDPU DTS to upstream one broke the eDPU plus model
since the required ethernet aliases are missing and U-Boot then cannot
find the required ethernet nodes.
So, after sending the required fix upstream, lets apply it in OpenWrt
as well.

Microchip ATF depends on Ruby scripts to generate the FWU monitor HTML
and more, so make sure that host Ruby is available.
We also need to call the scripts directly via Ruby executable as shebang
wont work due to lack of Ruby in the Buildbot container.

LibreSSL 3.9+ has dropped support for X509V3 extension API so cert_create
tool does not compile against it at all.
This was hidden by the fact that it was compiling against OpenSSL on my
host which still has that API, however we do not ship libssl-dev in the
Buildbot containers so compiling against distro OpenSSL is not possible.
So, after a long time trying to find any docs on that API I resorted to
LLM(Gemini 3 Pro) to get it to compile.
Our libcrypto is linked against pthread so we must pass -lpthread as well
for cert_tool.

RmNet driver provides a transport agnostic MAP (multiplexing and
aggregation protocol) support in embedded module. Module provides
virtual network devices which can be attached to any IP-mode
physical device.
This is commonly used on Qualcomm based modems for data aggregation.

In order to prolong the eMMC life and utilize ZSTD compression on Methode
devices, we must format the F2FS rootfs and misc partition with xattr and
compression support feature flags first.
This will only happen if partitions are broken currently, but later
commits will add support to convert existing boards to use compression.

Well, it seems that cryptopp hash was never refreshed since calling
make package/boot/arm-trusted-firmware-mvebu/check FIXUP=1 V=s does not
actually refresh the download calls hashes so refresh it manually.

Since ("download: don't overwrite VERSION variable") trying to download the
required sources for mvebu ATF will fail with:
Makefile:247: *** Download/mox-boot-builder is missing the SOURCE_VERSION field.. Stop.
This also broke the buildbot mvebu/cortex-a53 builds.
So, fix it by switching to SOURCE_VERSION instead.

Airoha EN8801SC PHY is a gigabit PHY used on Edgecore EAP111 so, include
the MTK driver with some cleanups.
Unfortunatelly, there is no specification sheet nor datasheet available
in order to demistify the magic PBUS writes and work on upstreaming
this driver.

Since kernel 5.11, the PXA I2C driver has been converted to generic I2C
recovery, which makes the I2C bus completely lock up if recovery pinctrl
is present in the DT and I2C recovery is enabled.
This effectively completely broke I2C on Methode uDPU and eDPU boards
as both of them rely on I2C recovery.
After a discussion upstream, it was concluded that there is no simple fix
and that the blamed upstream commit:
0b01392c18b9993a584f36ace1d61118772ad0ca ("i2c: pxa: move to generic GPIO
recovery") should be reverted.
I have sent the revert upstream, it should be merged soon so lets "fix"
OpenWrt as well.

cage and G.hn IC instead of connecting them directly to the ethernet
controllers.
The same image can be used on both versions as U-Boot will enable the
switch node and disable the unused ethernet controller.

New revision of eDPU uses an Marvell MV88E6361 switch to connect the SFP
cage and G.hn IC instead of connecting them directly to the ethernet
controllers.
In order to use the same image for both boards, U-Boot is responsible for
detecting the revision and enabling/disabling DTS nodes.
So, to make it easy for users, lets add the pending U-Boot patches to build
in OpenWrt.

Recent envtools update to 2023.07.02 has introduced a breakage when trying
to parallel build with the following error:
/bin/sh: line 1: scripts/basic/fixdep: No such file or directory
Luckily it can easily be reproduced locally via a simple script so it was
not hard to bisect it down to upstream commit [1].
However, its not that commits fault, it just uncovered an issue with the
way we have been building envtools for a long time, maybe even from the
package introduction.
The issue is that we are trying to build envtools as one of the U-Boot
no-dot-config-targets but envtools was newer a valid target for it but
since we were creating the config headers that were not actually used it
was actually building all this time.
Since the blamed commit [1] a tool called printinitialenv is built and
now a proper config is actually required in order for prerequisites to
get built properly.
So, in order to properly fix this (Hopefully for good) lets stop pretending
that envtools are a valid no-dot-config-targets target and use the
tools-only defconfig which is meant exactly for just building the tools.
This will make a minimal config for the U-Boot sandbox target and then
envtools will build just fine in parallel mode (I tested with 32 threads).
We do hovewer need to override the ARCH passed by OpenWrt and set it to
sandbox as otherwise U-Boot will not find the required headers because the
ARCH is being overriden to an incorrect one.

CONFIG_FRAME_WARN is set dynamically, so there is no need for it to be set
in target kernel configs, so lets remove it from all configs.

CONFIG_FRAME_WARN value is set by config/Config-kernel.in based on the
target type dynamically since commit:
16a2051 ("kernel: Set CONFIG_FRAME_WARN depending on target").
However, CONFIG_FRAME_WARN was not set to get filtered out so it ended up
in multiple target configs during refreshes.
So, lets filter out CONFIG_FRAME_WARN as its set dynamically to prevent it
ending up in more target configs.

Adds support for the Wallys DR40x9 series boards.
They come in IPQ4019 and IPQ4029 versions.
IPQ4019/4029 only differ in that that IPQ4029 is the industrial version that is rated to higher temperatures.
Specifications are:
* CPU: Qualcomm IPQ40x9 (4x ARMv7A Cortex A7) at 716 MHz
* RAM: 512 MB
* Storage: 2MB of SPI-NOR, 128 MB of parallel NAND
* USB 3.0 TypeA port for users
* MiniPCI-E with PCI-E 2.0 link
* MiniPCI-E for LTE modems with only USB2.0 link
* 2 SIM card slots that are selected via GPIO11
* MicroSD card slot
* Ethernet: 2x GBe with 24~48V passive POE
* SFP port (Does not work, I2C and GPIO's not connected on hardware)
* DC Jack
* UART header
* WLAN: In-SoC 2x2 802.11b/g/n and 2x2 802.11a/n/ac
* 4x MMCX connectors for WLAN
* Reset button
* 8x LED-s
Installation instructions:
Connect to UART, pins are like this:
-> 3.3V | TX | RX | GND
Settings are 115200 8n1
Boot initramfs from TFTP:
tftpboot 0x84000000 openwrt-ipq40xx-generic-wallys_dr40x9-initramfs-fit-uImage.itb
bootm
Then copy the sysupgrade image to the /tmp folder and execute sysupgrade -n <image_name>
The board file binary was provided from Wallystech on March 14th 2023
including full permission to use and distribute.

Armada 7040 uses a rather small 15MB memory window for every PCI adapter,
however this is not sufficient for Qualcomm QCA6390 802.11ax cards that
are shipped along with the OpenWrt WLAN model of MOCHAbin as ath11k
requires at least 16MB of memory.
So, similar to what MACCHIATOBin has been doing for years, lets move
to using the second PCIe 2 memory window and expand it to 128MB to
make it future proof.
This has been already sent upstream [1].

Update mvebu U-boot to 2022.10 to avoid backporting patches in order
to support Methode eDPU.
It also allows dropping existing patches as they are all backports.
